He believes technology supports work and life, but people mediate that relationship. Because of this philosophy, Dave has a vision to integrate digital and physical real estate. This is proven as he is also managing partner of the commercial building that 7L calls home @7LabattPlace. Dave not only provides office space to aspiring technology and creative organizations, he inspires a culture of thought leadership and innovative thinking to @7LabattPlace community in the gentrified downtown east end of Toronto.
Cassius Adams
Co-Founder & Destroyer of Worlds
Cassius has been heavily involved in the internet industry professionally since 1997, yet his passion for computing takes us back to the late 1980s on his trusty TRS-80. Having gained a wealth of knowledge and experience working at Netcom Canada, AT&T Canada, and having managed the 10 million user support department of the legendary Hotline Communications Ltd., Cassius' expertise and dedication are second to none.
His first hand experience providing great support, handling rapid growth, and remaining on the leading edge of today's technologies are just a small part of what makes Cassius a force to be reckoned with in the hosting industry.
The ultimate beta tester, Cassius has earned himself the nickname "Crashius Cassius" and the title "Destroyer of Worlds".
Michael Behrens
CTO & Lead Printer Scientician
Michael has over 22 years of experience in the Internet industry. He
has worked for such companies as UUNET and Bell Nexxia to provision
cross Canada optical backbones. Michael also spent 4 years building his
own ISP in Kingston which became the largest, was voted twice the best
service provider in the region and was the only ISP to have a direct
connection to Queen's University.
His knowledge isn't just limited to the networking world, he has an
exceptional understanding of Linux over multiple distributions and is a
former member of the Ubuntu Server Team.
Michael is also the only person who can fix the office printer, we don't
know why, we don't know how but he's become a distinguished Scientician
when it comes to Sciencing printers.
