SevenL Networks Supports Gentoo Linux

Toronto, Canada and Albuquerque, New Mexico – SevenL Networks (website) on Friday reached a long anticipated deal with Gentoo Linux (website), one of the fastest growing Linux based operating systems in history.
The two organizations reached a deal on Friday whereby SevenL Networks will provide Gentoo Linux with remote servers, adding to their already elaborate world-wide infrastructure, in exchange for ongoing promotion of SevenL Networks’ leading services.
“Open Source, and in particular Gentoo Linux, is where the industry is headed” said Cassius Adams, Founder & Senior Account Executive at SevenL Networks. Adams’ statement was echoed by SevenL Networks Director, Dan Gallo. “We’ve been using Gentoo Linux as our operations OS (operating system) for some time now” Gallo said. “A partnership seemed to be a natural progression and much of the industry has been following. Now thanks to this arrangement we’re ahead of the game, and are lucky enough to give back to the international community responsible for producing Gentoo Linux.”
The company, which launched as a premium website and email provider has since branched into numerous areas including Dedicated Servers, Managed Dedicated Servers, Managed Care, Colocation and Managed Colocation.
